Our Sunday Service is now held through Zoom 

Sunday service: 5:30 am - 7:00 am

Holy Communion: 7:05am - 7:20am

Fellowship Breakfast: 7:30am – 8:00am

Participation is open to all, regardless of race, creed, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin and mental or physical challenges. Sermons, Hymns and Ordinances are conducted in Japanese language. No English translation service is available at the moment.

Our Bible Studies are now held through Zoom. 

We have dedicated and serious Bible studies throughout the week except Sundays. Utilizing Skype which enables us to have face-to-face online meeting, we are connected to people in distant places.  We also have the studies at our Pine Bush, New York location two times a week.  Our senior pastor, Mikio Mizutani leads our Bible studies through media in Japanese. Seminar of the preparation for the trip to eternity.  We, those who have been born on this earth, will one day depart. People are afraid of when they leave knowing that life has an end and try to avoid the topic. However, no human being born into this world can avoid the reality of saying goodbye to life without exception.

How happy would I be if I could accept the time of departure with a peaceful heart full of gratitude? By preparing for the trip before departure, both the traveler and the person who sees them off will be able to welcome their departure with peace of mind so that the trip will go smoothly and comfortably if you prepare when you travel. The Bible is a book that points to the ultimate human happiness.

While asking the Bible to teach you how to prepare for your departure, we will give a lecture in two parts: personal arrangement and mental arrangement. It is beneficial for both those who are departing and those who send it. Please join us.

Keisenjuku恵泉塾  

We are to provide a loving, communal living for the weary and the overburdened at Keisenjuku (Life’s Harbor). 

Life’s Harbor is a communal living entity where unique people love one another in unity based on the teachings of the Bible and is a fountain of life.  A thirsty person can come to Keisenjuku and drink the water of life at no cost. Most of the visitors say “There was something holy about this place. I sensed God’s presence.”  Keisenjuku was established in 1995 at the rural farming place in Yoichi, Hokkaido in Japan by pastor Mikio Mizutani and his family. It now has grown to the community where 70-80 dedicated people live together. It even has spread to other areas in Japan and abroad.  JEC-NY provides Life’s Harbor in New York as well in a smaller scale for those who need the fountain of life.

The church is the representative of Jesus on earth and is to carry out the Great Commission. The Ministry requires a divinely called and scripturally ordained minister who is to be provided by God to lead the church in evangelization, worship, building the body, and general leadership of the church.

We believe that through the victorious redemptive work of Christ on the cross, we are free from the power of the enemy – sins,  greed, lies, sickness, torment, and spiritual death.

We practice two ordinances: (1) Water Baptism by full immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, after repenting of one’s sins and receiving the gift of salvation. (2) Holy Communion as an experience of oneness with Christ by taking bread and wine (body and blood of Jesus Christ) and by remembering the Christ’s self-sacrifice on the cross for our salvation. 

We believe that true faithful life in Christ requires daily Bible reading, constant prayers, and act of loving (edifying) others even in a self-sacrificial way.

 Baking cookies with the Word of God engraved and delivering the message on the cookies to both Christians and non-Christians throughout the world is what Life’s Harbor in New York was instructed to do by God.  The name of the business is Pneuma Cookies LLC. Pneuma is an ancient Greek word meaning breath, wind and holy spirit. “When your words came I ate them; they are my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name. O LORD God Almighty” Jeremiah 15:16 

Cookies are made fresh locally in New York with organic ingredients; organic unbleached flour, AA grade organic butter and organic flavors. Newly introduced Italian Grana Padano cheese cookies and Holland chocolate cookies have become very popular. We also have other flavors like Green Tea, Citrus and Vanilla.  Scriptures available are Romans, Psalms, Love, Encouragement, Baptism, Christmas, Easter, Condolence and more.  English, Japanese, Spanish and Portuguese are presently available for engraving.
